Creamy Tomatillo Ranch Dressing
The lettuce is ready to harvest in my vegetable garden, which means it's the start of salad season!
I am a little late to the game, but I'm just discovering making dressings at home, and oh my goodness it's so much better than any bottled dressing you can get! And also so easy! I made this yummy tomatillo dressing, which tastes just like the tomatillo ranch at Costa Vida. It's so good I could drink it (but I won't)! I’ll be making this yummy dressing for taco salads for dinner tonight. Recipe below!
Ingredients
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup full-fat sour cream
- 2 tomatillos
- Juice from one lime
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 package of dry buttermilk ranch dressing mix (I recommend Hidden Valley)
- ½ bunch cilantro
Directions
- Blend all ingredients together in a blender until smooth. As easy as that! Chill before serving.
